ERS Conference 2019: Call for Presentations

The call for presentations is closed!

We invite researchers to submit proposals for presentations as extended abstracts of maximum 1 500 words. Please use the provided template for your abstract and follow the outline given there (summary, research question, methodology, results). Please also indicate who will give the oral presentation. Accepted contributions will be available to the audience of the conference if authors do not explicitly disagree. The following topics are particularly suitable for the conference:

ERS Technology

  • Assessment of possible vehicle configurations
  • System tests and evaluation of ERS technologies
  • Standardization process
  • Potential synergies with other drive systems and across vehicle types

Implementation and Upscaling of ERS

  • Experience from field tests: construction, operation, communication
  • User acceptance: expectations and barriers for technology adoption
  • Applications, business models and market potential
  • Scenarios, models and feasibility analysis for large-scale implementation
  • Roles and responsibilities within future ERS systems
  • International outlook on ERS development and strategies

Impacts of ERS

  • Environmental, societal & industrial impacts
  • Energy system integration
  • Embedding ERS in climate and traffic policy strategies

Abstracts should be submitted as both word and PDF files to Please use the provided template. The scientific committee of the conference will review all submitted abstracts before acceptance; important selection criteria are novelty, clarity and discussion of possible uncertainties. The scientific committee will also assign the contributions to the oral or dialogue sessions.
